Seth Johnson, 22, of Englewood, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, at Starr Regional Medical Center with family and friends at his side.

He was the son of Anita Johnson and the late Jeff Johnson. He was the grandson of Harvey Blassingame and the late Carole Blassingame of Etowah, and Alvin and Henrietta Johnson of Englewood. He is also survived by his uncles and aunts, Ray and Angela Quinn of Acworth, Ga., Darin and Amy Osborne of Griffin, Ga., and Chris and Kendra Johnson of Athens. He was cousin to Hannah and David Osborne and Madison and Olivia Johnson.

Seth was home-schooled and graduated in 2013. He attended Englewood First Church of God, where he loved to sing hymns and share the pictures he had colored for all his friends. Seth was a true prayer warrior. He never ceased in his devotion to the Lord, consistently asking others to pray with him.

He loved traveling. Some of his favorite destinations included Disney World, Tybee Island and the Rock Ranch in Georgia. His favorite television shows were "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse," "The Andy Griffith Show" and "Wheel of Fortune." Seth enjoyed playing with his cars and trucks and often gave his favorite toys away to those he loved.

Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at Eastanallee Baptist Church in Riceville with Pastor Kevin Cummins and Pastor Bo Dunkle officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday prior to the service at the church. Family and friends will assemble at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at Bordwine Funeral Home and will proceed to Green Hill Cemetery for the 11 a.m. committal service.

Sammy, Cody and Austin Duncan, Matt and Haden Blair and Chris Torbett will serve as pallbearers.
