We celebrate the Life and Love of Johnny Michael Marshall of Princeton, West Virginia, as heaven has gained another Marine. In his last days, Mike passed peacefully in his home on February 12, 2017 in the care of his loving wife Janice A (Webster) Marshall, his beloved Aunt Frances Mata, and his Mother-in-Law Maize Nestle. Mike was a loving husband and father who brought life and love to his family and those around him. He blessed every meal, read his scriptures in the evenings, and through his life journey and ministry at Enduring Faith Chapel, shared his faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In addition to serving our Lord, Mike served our country in the United States Marine Corps as an E-2 during the Vietnam War. Later in life he enjoyed hunting, horses, church, and most of all his friends and family.
Mike was born to Benjamin Franklin Marshall and Margie Louise Mitchell Marshall. He is survived by his loving wife Janice A. (Webster) Marshall of 16 years, Aunt (Second mother) Frances Mata, Daughter Veronica Michelle (Marshall) Hawkins and Son-in-Law Samuel Hawkins of Louisville KY, Daughter Monica Lynn Marshall and Fiancé Jose Wagner of Portsmouth VA, Daughter Erica Renee Franklin of Port Charlotte, FL, Daughter Anne (Marshall) Linn of Mansfield, OH, Son Troy Michael Marshall of Marion, OH, Bonus Daughter Alisha D. Engan-Wiler, Brother and Sister-In-Law Thomas "Jeff" Marshall & Wife Brenda of West Virginia, Sister-In-Law Diana Lynne (Mathena) Marshall of Princeton West Virginia, and cherished Niece Erin Clark of Princeton West Virginia and all of his many grand children and great grandchildren.
Psalm 30:5
Weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
John 14:2-3
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Mike is preceded on his journey to Glory Land by the following friends and family members; his parents Benjamin and Margie, Sister Linda Carol Clark, Brother Randy W. Marshall, Brother Larry Lee Marshall, Father-In-Law Jimmy Dale Webster and others.
He made it home. His smiles and laughter will be missed.
