Born on the Western Slope of Colorado to Oscar Leroy and Minnie Monica Young Bishop in 1910. Lee moved with his family first to Salt Lake City, Utah and then to the Bay area of California. Lee married first, Sara Eva Machado in 1937. Sara passed in 1975. Lee worked as the Executive Chef for 35 years at the Coral Reef in Sacramento and created their salad dressing the restaurant was famous for. Lee married his second wife, Francis 'Jennie' Foster in 1979. Lee enjoyed connecting with family at the yearly Bishop/Fuson reunions in Colorado Springs and as well as traveling. He was a happy person who liked to tell stories about the past and the Wild West. Lee's ashes are interned at a private location.
