He enjoyed art and music and was an avid traveler to Germany.
Shane was preceded in death by his father, George William Chase; grandparents, William Ernest and Madge Chase; Arlie and Odna Davidson.
Shane was a devoted father, son, brother and will be remembered in the hearts of our family and friends.
He is survived by his son, Kaya Chase; mother and step father, Martha and Bill Lee; brothers, Bart (Aleta) Chase, Trey (Stephanie) Chase, George “Chipper” Chase; sisters, Marlie Chase Jones, Danielle (Jason ) Culberson, Michelle Blackwell; several nieces, nephews; his companion, Misty Cordle; and his two dogs, Virgil and Luna.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-8 PM at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Road.
