(nee Rieder) - Passed away peacefully, on Thursday, October 21, 2004, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of Wallace C. Devenny (1974). Loving mother of a son and daughter. Cherished grandmother of 6. Survived by her brother and his wife.. Predeceased by her sister Ruth Werlich. Marion had fond remembrances of her employment and friendships at the Mutual Life Assurance Company. As a Charter Member of Calvary Memorial United Church, she participated in many church activities. Marion had a special love for gardening and her family. Friends will be received at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Reception to follow at the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. Private family interment. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario may be placed by contacting the funeral home at 519-745-9495 or online at [email protected].
