James Andrews and Jemima McGraw Derman married in Marion County, Mississippi on June 14, 1813. (Mississippi Marriage Index 1776 - 1935)
They lived on the Bogue Chito River in the 1800's.

Luke Ward Conerly's book states: "James Andrews, who came from Georgia, married Miss McGraw in Pike County. Their children were

1-Minerva, who married Garner Gates and lived in Holmes County.
2-Thompson Andrews married Lizzie Pearson;
3-Burrell married Mary Walker, daughter of John Walker. They were the parents of 1. Elisha C, 2. Thomas J., 3. William Pinkney, 4 John Warren, 5 Zebulon P., 6 James 7 Berkley, 8 Sarah Jane, 9 Rhoda 10. Elizabeth and 11. Charlie Lee.
4)-Thompson Andrews and Lizzie Pearson were the parents of 1. Martha, who married Thomas Brent; 2.James, 3. Mac and 4. Felix.
5) Felix Andrews, Sr., married Widow Thigpen, of Holmes County, and were the parents of 1. Warren and 2. Wilkes Andrews."

James Andrews second wife was Rachel Gullage, they were the parents of
Jackson Andrews.
