Margaret Lowry, age 95, of Madisonville, widow of Stanly (Buck) Lowry, passed away 1:34 a.m., Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Parkwest Medical Center. She and her late husband owned and operated Lowry's Department Store in Madisonville for 37 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Madisonville.
She was preceded in death by son, James C. (Jimmy Cook) Lowry; brother, Jack Wooldridge. Survived by son, Joe Lowry; daughter-in-law, Vivian Lowry; step-granddaughter, Michelle Harrill; step-great-grandson, Hunter Lankford; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Frances Wooldridge, all of Madisonville.
Funeral 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, Biereley-Hale Chapel. Interment in Haven Hill Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Wednesday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
