Arnold Lee Patterson

Arnold Lee Patterson, 59, of Middlesboro, passed away on October 8, 2013 at the UK Medical Center following a short illness. He was born May 14, 1954 in Arjay, a son of the late Oscar, Sr., and Lillie Collett Patterson. He had been a coal miner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Asher Patterson, one stillborn son; brothers, Carnes, Ronald Ray and Michael "Mitch" Patterson sister, Essiline Patterson Phillips; brothers-in-law, Benton Jones and Sam Mosley and sister-in-law, Doris Patterson.

Survivors include his brothers and their wife, Luster and Rannie, Dayton, OH; Custer Paterson of Zenia, OH; Russell and Shirley Patterson of Wallsend Hollow, Oscar and Linda Patterson of Greasy Creek; Glen Patterson of Turkey Creek; Clyde and Mary Patterson of Four Mile and Claude and Diane Patterson of Wallsend Hollow; sisters and their husbands, Evelynn and Vernon Wages of Dayton, OH; Tressie Mosley of Dorton Branch and Marie Jones of Dayton, OH; sister-in-law, Carol Patterson; brother-in-law, Clyde Jr. Phillips and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to a special niece, Jessica Asher.

Services will be at 11:00 AM Friday at Green Camp Pentecostal Church with Rev. Arthur Jackson and Rev. W. Terrell Gibson. Music will be by Ollie Patterson Sizemore and Patricia "Cookie" Patterson Mills and the Grace Singers of Knox County. Burial will be in the Asher Cemetery in Leslie County. Pallbearers will be Charles Patterson, Anthony Patterson, Shane Patterson, Michael Clay, Jordan Asher and David Emert.

The family will receive friends after 6:00 PM Thursday until the funeral hour at the Green Camp Pentecostal Church.
