Mrs. Regina Margaaret "Jean" Knouse Taylor, 83, of Hagerstown, MD; died Saturday at her home.

Mrs. Taylor, born in Orrtanna, Adams County, PA; waas the daughter of the late William Daniel Knouse and Laura E. McKenrick Knouse and the widow of Luther T. Taylor, Sr. who died Oct. 5, 2010. She was also preceded by a sister, Celie Hill and brother, Jack Knouse.

She was a graduate of Gettysburg High School and worker as a bookkeeper for many years in the Hagerstown area. She attended St. Ignatius Loyola Church in Orrtanna, PA. She also enjoyed gardening and bird watching.

She is survived by a son, Luther T. Taylor, Jr.; a daughter, Debra Myers and husband Stuart; a stepson, Leonard T. Taylor and wife Dawn; two granddaughters, Megan and Chelsea Taylor; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

The family received friends one hour prior services at the funeral home.

The funeral services were held at 2 PM, Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Rest Haven Funeral Home in Hagerstown, MD.

Burial was made in Rest Haven Cemetery.
