Eric Stanford Caldwell 1959 ~ 2007 Eric passed away August 17, 2007. He was born January 3, 1959 in Santa Ana, California to Rod and Leilani Caldwell, the first son after five girls, a big day in the Caldwell house. Eric was a soft spoken man with a big heart, a gentle giant, who had some hard knocks in life but still had a joke to tell at every occasion. His best friend was his brother, Bradley. They had such a tight bond together, two personalities that complimented each other, a friendship for life (they were best buds). Eric loved his sisters, and with six of them, he knew he was loved back. He loved music and taught himself to play the guitar and organ. Loved to jam with his friends, play for others, and his truck. If you needed a ride, he was always ready and willing to take you to your destination, which he did a lot. He had a close knit family at Valley Plaza where he lived. They became such a huge part of his life and ours. Eric was well read in the scriptures and loved the Lord. When he read something new that hit his heart, he couldn't wait to tell you about it. He enjoyed his job at the school, he was a hard worker and got a lot of satisfaction from working there. Survived by sisters: Arlene (Glen) Houseman, Linda (Dave) Holman, Valerie Caldwell, Caren (Earl) Leibelt, Catherine Hamilton, Patricia Renaga; brother, Bradley; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be Thurs. August 23, 2007, 11 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Rd where a viewing will be held, 10-10:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment, Taylorsville Cemetery.
