Olympia Parshook-Neander, 72, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Arnold, died Monday, Sept., 22, 2003, in her home.
She was born Nov. 1, 1930, in Arnold, lived most of her life in that area before moving to North Huntingdon and enjoyed cooking.
She was predeceased by her parents, Archie and Mary Greshkevich Parshook; her husband, Karl Robert Neander; and a brother and sister, John Parshook and Valentina Templin. Surviving are her son, Dorian Neander, with whom she lived; daughter, Tanya Martin of Cleveland; sisters, Vera (John) Scott of Butler and Dolly (John) Chekanski of Ford City; brother, Leon (Eleanor) Parshook of Lower Burrell; and grandson, Parker Martin.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the RUSIEWICZ OF ARNOLD FUNERAL HOME, where Parastas will be at 7:30 p.m. Services at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home, the Very Rev. Paul Ziatyk officiating.
Burial in Union Cemetery.
