He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert J French and Shirley J (Pickett) Wilson and his brother, Michael French.
Gary served the nation in the US Navy for four years, was a retiree of the Emergency Room Department at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, spent many hours volunteering with the Athletic Department at East Jackson Community Schools , was an avid bowler and served on the Jackson Board of Directors of the United States Bowling Congress.
Interment of his cremated remains at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI.
