Linda Larsen, 62, Pocatello, passed February 10, 2017 peacefully in her home.

Linda was born in Pocatello to Vern and Rhoda (Butterfield) Bennett on July 20, 1954. She attended high school at Highland High graduating 1972. She went on to earn a degree in Secretarial Occupations from Idaho State University, followed by an Associate’s in Paralegal Studies from Ashworth College. At the time of her passing, she served as Deputy Clerk/Transcriptionist for Bannock County, Idaho. Linda was a proud member of the I.S.U. Women’s Basketball Program Grandparents Club. In recognition, ISU Athletics and the Athletic Foundation have established a program through the 'Fast Break Club' in her honor. Linda was also an avid bowler, very skilled at knitting and crocheting, and loved to spend time in the outdoors with her family.

Linda is preceded in death by her father, Vern Bennett and brother, Randy Bennett.

She is survived by husband, Murry Larsen; sister, Kathleen (Bennett) Killian; son, Kerry Larsen; daughter, Patricia (Larsen) Hoggatt; and two grandchildren, Brianna Hoggatt and Emma Larsen.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made in the name of Linda M. Larsen to the 'Fast Break Club’ as follows:

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 5-7 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, ID.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 11 am at the LDS 9th Ward chapel, 4010 Hawthorne Rd. Chubbuck, ID 83202, (Corner of Quinn and Hawthorne Rd.) with a public viewing prior from 9:30 am-10:30 am with family time from 10:30 am-11:00 am. Bishop Mike Bright is officiating.

Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 2864 S. 5th Ave. Pocatello, ID 83204.
