Lillie Belle Adams

Lillie Belle Adams, 100, of Robinette, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, May 11, 2014, at Logan Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness.
She was born in Scott County, VA, on August 24, 1913, and had resided at Buffalo Creek for approximately 79 years. Lillie Belle became a member of Becco United Baptist Church in 1949, where she worked many hours and hot dog sales to raise money for the church. She had a love for the Lord that burned in her heart up until the moment she passed. Lillie Belle loved to praise the Lord and would often say, "I'm ready to go". She was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Lillie Belle was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Louisa Griffin Wagner; brothers, Oscar Wagner, Kelsey Wagner, J.C. Wagner, Robert Wagner, Kenny Wagner, and Hicklen Manis; her sisters, Lakie Mann, Rhinda Tunnell, Ida Bellamy, Ollie Cunningham, Edna Seckler, Pearl Harkleroad, Virgie Miller, and Phoebe Sakay; and a host of other family members and friends. Her greatest personal losses were her husband, David Frank Adams in 1976; her daughter-in-law, Carol Sue Adams in 2005; her daughter, Helen Adams Urganus in 2009; and her son, Victor Adams in 2013.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Bobby (Barbara) Adams; grandchildren, Mike (Pam) Adams, David (Betty) Adams, Allen Adams, Scott Adams, John Adams, Derick Adams, Vickie (Tony) Bell, and Katrina (Tony) Curia; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great- great-grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews, many friends, and her loving neighbors, John and Susie Heflin.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
