Brandon Dean Roberts, 18, of Ferrum, died Thursday, December 11, 1997. Born on September 16, 1979, he was a graduate of Franklin County High School.
He was the grandson of the late Russell Roberts and Marvin Thompson.
Surviving are his father, Eddie Roberts of Martinsville; his mother, Becky Roberts of Rocky Mount; his grandmother, Dorothy Roberts of Ferrum; uncles, Roy Roberts of Hurt, Larry Hancock and Darrell Hancock of Altavista; an aunt, Kimberly Roberts of Elliston; his girlfriend, Stephanie Hudson of Rocky Mount; a cousin, Ciara Roberts of Elliston; special friends, Steve Pendleton of Rocky Mount, Nancy Davis and Brittany Boles of Christiansburg, and a host of many close friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 1997, at Lynch Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. William Shively and the Rev. Steve Tilley officiating.
Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Saturday, where the family will be from 7 until 9 p.m. Lynch Funeral Home, Rocky Mount, is in charge of arrangements.
