February 9, 2017 Tina Michelle McDuffie Hicks, age 47, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, February 9, 2017. She is preceded in death by her sisters; Sherry Jean and Janice Marie McDuffie. Tina worked for many years as a bookkeeper in her family business, McDuffie Sanitation. She attended Lott Road Church of God, where her son, Gene is a guitarist with the praise and worship team. Tina was a loving young lady who was known to always put the needs of others before herself. She had a giving spirit and enjoyed volunteering where needed. Tina is survived by her husband, Brian Mabin Hicks, son Eugene "Gene" Hicks and parents; Claude Eugene and Jimmie Delveaux McDuffie. She is also survived by her sister, Theresa Kay McDuffie Weaver (Gerald), father and mother-in-law; Mabin and Pat Hicks; sisters-in-law, Cindy Britain (Ralph), Karen Small (Fred), niece and nephew, Taylor Floyd and Kenneth Eugene Havens, numerous other cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Monday, February 13, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
