Virginia Ellison, 88, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at St. Joseph Regional Health Care in Bryan.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 10, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, February 9, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. with an Altar Society rosary at 4:30 p.m. and an evening rosary service at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Virginia was born March 2, 1928, in Hearne to the daughter of Sam and Josephine (Piccola) Loria. She, together with her husband of 51 years, owned and operated Ellison TV until their retirement. She enjoyed cooking, baking pies, spending time with family and working on puzzles. Virginia was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and the Altar Society.
Virginia is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman Lloyd Ellison Sr.; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Josephine Loria; brother, Chris Loria; sister and brother-in-law, Matilda and Marion Malazzo.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Norma and Kenneth Jones, Jennifer and Art Wilkerson, Shirley and Thom Davidson; son, Norman Ellison, Jr.; sister-in-law, Marie Loria; grandchildren, Cari Jones, Lindsey and Adam Edrington, Trinity Wilkerson; great-grandchildren, Mason and Carson Barreiro, Tristan, Maddox, and Lillee Edrington; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
