MRS. HARRIS DIES AGED NINETY-ONE AT CINCINNATI
Funeral Will Be Held Tuesday Afternoon
Was Known as One of the Honored Old Ladies of the City - Passed Away Sunday

Cincinnati, Nov. 15 - Mrs. Matilda Streepy Harris, better known as "Aunt Till", died Sunday morning at 6:00 o'clock, aged 91 years, and 24 days. She was the oldest citizen of Cincinnati and was known as one of the grand old ladies of the community, on in whom all took an interest and a pleasure that she was so long spared.

The funeral service will be held at the late home Tuesday, November 16, at 1:00 o'clock, conducted by Rev. E. J. Shook, former pastor of the Methodist church here.

Matilda Streepy was born in Davis (Daviess) county, Ind., Octo 20, 1829. She was married to John H. Harris, September 9, 1852, and soon after came to the Cincinnati vicinity. She had lived in this locality, in and near Cincinnati ever since. Her husband was a soldier in the Civil war and was killed at Mark's Mill. They had five children, two of whom died in infancy. Her daughter, Elizabeth, has made her home with her mother. A son, W. H. Harris, lives in Cincinnati, and another son, J. H. Harris, at Numa. She was a sister of Isaac Streepy, living near here.

"Aunt Till" as everybody called her was held in the warmest affection by scores of people who knew her. She was a friend and mother to all. She was of sturdy stock and reached her advanced age with her facilities well retained in her older years.

AGED PIONEER DEAD
Mrs. Matilda Harris died Sunday morning at her home in Cincinnati at the advanced age of 91 years. The funeral services were held from her home Tuesday, conducted by Rev. E. J. Shook formerly pastor of the M. E. church in Cincinnati.
