Samantha Chantal Bailey, 27 of Old Orchard Beach, passed away unexpectedly on February 8, 2017.
She was born in Biddeford on October 9, 1989, a daughter of Dana Remi Bailey and Kathy Boisvert.
Samantha graduated from Bonney Eagle High School, class of 2007. She graduated at the top of her class, played softball and was a two time state champion cheerleader. Samantha went on to the University of Southern Maine where she received her Bachelor’s in Psychology.
From a young age, Sam loved the (Purple) Barney, she would play I love you, I love you, over and over on the VCR tape. She enjoyed dressing up in different costumes and was my beautiful little Pocahontas. As she grew older, her natural talent started to show through art and her painting. She spent many hours outdoors, sun and fun. She had a great love for cats and animals. She also liked ramen noodles, lobster stew and shrimp scampi.
She is survived by her son Gavin, her dad Dana Remi Bailey and his wife Wendy, step mother Melissa Bailey, grandparents Bart and Astrid Bailey and Dennis and Roxanne Gervais and great great grandmother Hazel Lumb. She is also survived by her brother Cody Boisvert and her sister Dominique LaValle, her aunt Chantal Frenette and husband Ian and their children Hudson and Max and uncles Mark and Andy Gervais and cousins Erick Christensen and his wife Tammy and Spencer, Chandler, Connor, Katy and Mandy.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, 87 James Street, Saco. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
