Stephanie was the eldest daughter of Lithuanian immigrants. As a child, she learned to speak and write Lithuanian and Polish. She helped care for her siblings growing up and was the first of her siblings to get married. As a working elder sister, she often treated her sister to a new dress or pair of shoes. She was a generous person with her time and money. She raised a son and enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Later in life, she was a favorite of the local fire department who called her daily to check on her. She is missed.
