She was born January 31, 1913, at Vick (Bradley County), a daughter of the late C.C. Sharp and Lula Johnson Sharp.
She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
She was the widow of Claude Thornton, who died January 16, 1970, and Rodney Johnson, who died January 25, 2000.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Nathalie Barnes.
Survivors include one son, Dwayne Thornton of Edmond, Oklahoma; one stepson, Randy Johnson of Taylor (Columbia County); one daughter, Janice Williams of San Jose, California; a stepdaughter, Barbara Johnson of Warren; one brother, Roscoe Sharp of Mobile, Alabama; five grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Frazer's Funeral Home at Warren. Burial will be Oakland Cemetery.
