Gretchen M. (Holtan) Jackson, of Blaine, was 77 years of age when she passed away, after a courageous 20 year battle against cancer; she was surrounded by family, in her home. She is preceded in death by an infant daughter; parents, Alma & Charles Holtan; sister, Gwen Dunlap.
Gretchen was involved in many activities at Brooklyn Center High School during 1970's & 80's. She was always available to drive kids (not just her own) to appointments. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels for many years, delivering food to the needy. She was involved with the Domestic Abuse Program; helping women with Court proceedings & finding shelters. Gretchen was a selfless woman.
