Eliza Burket, m.n. Reed, a widow, not a member of the church, daughter of Christian Lewis and Rachel Reed, born June 15, 1810 in Stokes Co., North Carolina, baptized in infancy in Moravian Ch. In 1833 married Rudy Burket. In 1863 became a widow. Mother of 8 children. Her sickness was consumption. Died May 23 and was buried in our graveyard on the 24th May 1866. Aged 56, less 22 days.
