Carolyn White Fletcher, 61, of Tifton, died Monday, March 28, 2016, at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 1, 2016, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with the Rev. Ronnie Howell officiating. A eulogy will be given by her grandson, Chandler Cade Newbern. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Albritton Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Fletcher’s nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Born June 17, 1954, in Tift County to the late Elisha White and Rosie Hall White, Mrs. Fletcher also was preceded in death by one brother, Archie D. White, and one sister, Catherine Gay.

Mrs. Fletcher was a homemaker who was a great cook. She loved her family, her Lord, and her grandchildren. Mrs. Fletcher also loved fishing, the mountains, and her dog, “Pepper.” She was a member of Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Fletcher is survived by her husband, Marion David Fletcher of Tifton; two sons, Chadwick Newbern of Tifton, and Dustin Fletcher of Atlanta; four sisters and one brother-in-law , Letha Selph of McRae, Mary Wojick of Tifton, Sandra Walker of Enigma, and Ann and Jeff Wiggins of TyTy; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Leon and Bernice White of Tifton, Arnold and Nancy C. White of Buffalo, NY, Keith and Lisa White of Lenox, Tim and Crystal White of Thomasville, and Tony and Marielle White of Raleigh NC; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
