INMAN - Marie Heidebrecht, 97, passed away August 25, 2012, at Pleasant View Home, Inman.

She was born August 4, 1915, in Inman the daughter of Dietrich and Helena 'Lena' (Loepp) Hildebrand. She farmed with her husband and was co-owner of the Haven Locker and H. & H. Meats, Hesston.

She was a member of the Hoffnungsau Mennonite Church. On August 4, 1934, she married Ernest P. Heidebrecht at Inman. He passed away on June 9, 2000.

Survivors include two daughters, a daughter-in-law, a brother, 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest, a son, LeRoy, a sister, Tena Regier, and six brothers, Martin, Dan, Edward, Willis, Floyd and Lloyd.

Memorial service was Thursday, August 30, 2012, at Hoffnungsau Mennonite Church, with Pastor Cleo Koop officiating. Private family burial was in Hoffnungsau Cemetery.

Memorials to the Hoffnungsau Mennonite Church, or Mennonite Central Committee, both in care of Buhler Mortuary, 120 North Main, Buhler, Kansas 67522.
