Goldine "Deane" Kuchinka, 83 of Las Cruces died Thursday January 20, 2005 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center. She was born January 11, 1922 in New Concord, Ohio to Harry and Hattie Addis.

Deane served her Country in the United States Marine Corps. She loved to travel and her hobbies included reading and sewing. Deane was a wonderful wife and mother, and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Matthew, two daughters Patti Nielson and husband Don of Durand, MI and Pam Rossi of Las Cruces, NM. She is also survived by one sister Evelyn Faye Umbach of Wooster, OH four grandchildren Jessica, Cassandra, Jasmine, and Jackie and one great-grandson Kamari.

A memorial mass will be held at 10 AM Wednesday January 26, 2005 at Our Lady of Purification Catholic Church in Dona Ana. The rite of committal will follow at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral. The family prefers that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Albuquerque Office District N., 10501 Montgomery Blvd NE, Ste. 300, Albuquerque, NM 87111 or log on to www.cancer.org to make online donations.
