Andrew "Junior" Cobern age 72 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at the Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. He was born April 12, 1944 in Tip Top, Kentucky to the late Andy and Jane Marshal Cobern. Survivors include his better half, Onie Mae Cobern, five sons, Jerry Fletcher, Edward Neil Cobern, and Terry Cobern all of Salyersville, Kentucky, and Jearld Ray Cobern and Rodney Lee Cobern both of Paintsville, Kentucky, four daughters, Vivian Carol Curtis of Paintsville, Kentucky, and Caroletta Collinsworth, Andrea Marie Hunt and Jane Carty all of Salyersville, Kentucky, three brothers, Gene Cobern and Lloyd King both of Jackson, Michigan, and Jessie King of Salyersville, Kentucky, and one sister, Becky Gipson of Salyersville, Kentucky. Twenty-three grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive. In addition to his parents, Junior is preceded in death by five brothers, Roy Robert King, Lacy Cobern, Kenneth Cobern, James King, and John King, and three sisters, Stella Lou King, Mary Sue King, and Hester Hardenburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Monday, February 13, 2017 from the Church of God's Grace with Bill Cole officiating. Burial will follow in the Fletcher Cemetery at Royalton, Kentucky. Friends may visit the church after 6 pm Saturday, February 11, 2017, all day Sunday, and anytime Monday prior to funeral services.
