On the evening of November 4, 2015, Teresa passed away from complications due to renal failure. She spent her final days at home with her friends, and family.

Teresa was born May 12, 1958 in Lehi, Utah to Ralph L. and Daisy Lee Rogers Colledge. She was the fifth child in a family with six children. She lived in American Fork, Utah then moved to Fillmore, Utah at the age of 8. She graduated from Millard High school where she was on the track team. Teresa married David Jay Hardy on January 28, 1979. They had four children; Noah, Thad, Jed, and Leigha.

Teresa loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She especially loved our annual family reunions and Easter outings. She was always very protective of her sisters. When her younger sister Laurelee was injured in a car accident Teresa was determined to help her adjust to being in a wheelchair. She took her rafting down the Colorado River and helped her raise her daughter Mikayla.
Teresa loved to cook and was very good at it. Her cookies and cinnamon rolls were the best. She made sure no one ever left her house hungry. She was always reading and was a constant visitor to the Fillmore City Library. Teresa was hardworking and always on the go. She started working at Cluff’s Drive In as a carhop at the age of 14 and worked there until a month before her passing.
People like Gayle Cluff and Rich Pickens are great examples of what it meant to be Teresa’s friend…it meant you were more like family. Teresa was a strong life force that people gravitated towards. She touched so many lives and will be remembered and missed by all who knew her and loved her smile.

Teresa is survived by her children; Noah (Angie) Hardy, Thad (Rachael) Hardy, Jed Hardy, and Leigha (Danny) Hardy. Nine Grandchildren. Her Mother Daisy Lee Colledge and her sisters Marilynn (Byron) Morrill, Cecilia Colledge, Laurelee Colledge, and one brother “Buster” Ralph LaVar (Anita) Colledge.

Teresa was preceded in death by; her husband David Jay Hardy, her father Ralph L. Colledge, her sister Linda Colledge Larsen, and her niece Charlotte O’Hara.

Memorial services will be held Saturday November 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fillmore Senior Citizens Center (55 South 400 West).
