85, of Lynchburg, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006, at his residence. A native of Mulberry, he was a retired mail carrier and U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Franklin Norman and Annie Isom Norman. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Louise Norman, Lynchburg; two daughters, Angie (Gary) Miller, Decherd, and Janice (Jerry) Stewart, Hope Mills, N.C.; two sons, Robert I. Norman Jr. and Larry Norman, both of Lynchburg; brother, Frank Norman, Tullahoma; grandchildren, Alan, Chris, Derek and Michael, and great-grandchildren, Lauren and Selena. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Aug. 18, at Jennings-Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro. John Norman Jr. and Bro. Richard Logan officiating. Burial will be in Lynchburg Cemetery. Jennings-Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
