Anthony "Dick" Hale Sr., 49, of McNary Drive, Nashville, Tenn., died Friday, October 8th, at 2:30 p.m. at Southern Hills Hospital, Nashville, following a long illness.
Services were held Monday, October 11th, to 30 p.m. at Morgan's Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Salyers officiating. Burial followed in Baker Cemetery in Caldwell County, Ky.
A Caldwell County native, he was born February 2nd 1944, a son of the late John T. Hale, Sr., and Sallie Mae Peters Hale.
Mr. Hale was a U.S. Navy veteran and an employee of Marriott Hotel, Nashville, Tennessee.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia McPherson Hale; three sons, Tony Hale Jr., Caldwell County, Dwight Hale and Dwayne Hale, both of Perry, Okla.; two grandsons; six brothers, Ralph Hale, Peoria, Illinois, Jerry Hale, Phoenix, Ariz., Bobby Joe Hale, East Peoria, Ill., Roy Hale, Princeton, and Jake Hale and Bill Hale, both of Caldwell County; four sisters, Katherine Shanks, Nauvoo, Ill., Patsy Pickford, Navarre, Fla., Peggy Cochran, Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and June Matthews, East Peoria, Illinois. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Pallbearers were Dennis Cartwright, William R. Hale, Kelly R. Peters, Terry Boyd, Rowdy McCoy and Steve Stallins
