Oscar Hagin, of 312 Fall Street, was found dead near the old Remington Co. Salt plant. He was about 50 years old. He was employed as a watchman at the old plant.

He was a member of the Ithaca Lodge of the Loyal Order of Moose.

Mr. Hagin is survived by his widow; three daughters, Mrs. Richard Townsend, of Asbury, Misses Dorothy and Florence Hagin of Ithaca; three sons, Fred, Lawrence and Russell Hagin of Ithaca; three sisters, Mrs. Egbert Towner, of Groton, Mrs. Florence Corrington, Groton, and Mrs. Ida Harrington, Groton; two brothers, Howard Hagin of Asbury and Albert Hagin, Ithaca; two grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hagin and son, Howard, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Krups, Mrs. Clyde Teeter, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Tarbell, Mrs. Charles Larkin, Mrs. George Teeter, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Gibbs, Mrs. Bernice Jacobs, Charles Hagin and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Townsend and family were in Ithaca Friday afternoon and attended the funeral of Oscar Hagin which was held from the Gilbert funeral parlors and was largely attended by many relatives and friends. There were many beautiful floral pieces. Rev. J. Irving Reese of Tabernacle Baptist church officiated and interment was in the Lake View cemetery. Members of Moose Lodge acted as bearers.
