Obituary:
Walter Vaughn 89, of Petersburg died at 4:40 a.m. Sunday at St. John's Hospital. Walter married Martha F. Bucks January 26, 1920. She preceded him in death as did an infant daugter, Bernice Esther.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Oakland Cemetery, Petersburg. Hurley Funeral Home, Petersburg, is in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are one son, Leroy of Petersburg; three daughters, Martha Cox of Chandlerville, Bertha (Kenneth) Kinkade of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Louise (William) Geist of Spokane, Washington; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Raymond of Petersburg; two sisters, Helen Ball of Petersburg and Goldie Childers of Indianapolis, Indiana.
