Rodney Little Jr., 38, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington. He was born Oct. 18, 1972, in New Hanover County. He was a member of Delco Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church.
FInal rites will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, at Delco PFWB Church with the Revs. Mike Owens and Patsy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Delco Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, Aug. 6 from 6-8:30 p.m. at Peacock Funeral Home in Whiteville.
Survivors include his wife, Wendy Ganey Little; a daughter, Brittany Little and a son, Garrett Little, both of the home; his mother, Sandra Ham Dale of Delco; his father, Rodney G. Little Sr. of Delco; paternal grandmother, Margie Ham of Delco; a brother, Randy Little of Riegelwood; a sister, Misty Little Smith of Leland; three stepsisters, Sharon Bullard, Bonita Powell and Tammy Grice, all of Delco. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Lenwood Dale; maternal grandfather, James Ham Sr. and paternal grandmother, Adell Little and paternal grandfather, Jim Little.
