Randall Joe Spinks, 59, of Summersville, died Monday, May 27, 2013, at Summersville Regional Medical Center. He was the son of Harlan Spinks of Summersville and the late Trina Hayhurst Spinks and was born at Richwood on May 20, 1954. Randall retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of Little Union Baptist Church, Calvin, where he served in several capacities. He was a member of the United States National Guard.

Surviving in addition to his father are his wife, Sheila Riffle Spinks; two sons, Kevin Dwayne Spinks of Summersville and Wesley Spinks of Charlotte, N.C.; brother, Roger Spinks of Tioga; grandson, Jacob; and he was expecting his first granddaughter in August.

His body was cremated. A memorial service will be conducted Monday, June 3, at 8 p.m. at Little Union Baptist Church, Calvin, with Pastor Shawn Frame officiating. Friends may call at the church from 6 p.m. until service time on Monday.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Little Union Baptist Building Fund, P.O. Box 9, Calvin, WV 26660, would be appreciated.

Waters Funeral Chapel, Summersville, is in charge of arrangements.
