Christopher M. Penrod, 24, of Bluffton, passed away Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne.
Christopher was born in Portland, IN, on Mar. 1, 1992. He is survived by his mother, Ruth A. (Brown) Penrod of Bluffton; and his father, Kirk A. Penrod of Anderson, South Carolina.
A 2011 graduate of Norwell High School, he enjoyed his work as a millwright. Christopher was a dare devil, who enjoyed racing, “burning rubber” with his car, spending time on his four wheeler, and partying with his friends. He will always be remembered for his ability to make others laugh.
In addition to his parents, Christopher is survived by a sister, Alexis J. Penrod of Bluffton; a brother, Joshua A. Penrod of Bluffton; grandparents, Jim Brown of Uniondale, and Gary and Ruth Penrod of Michigan; a niece, Augustina Penrod; and a nephew, Ayden Penrod.
Christopher was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sally Brown.
Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM, at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton, with a funeral service beginning immediately following visitation at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Horeb Cemetery in Uniondale.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family, in care of the funeral home.
