Morgan A. Wheeler, 25 of Whitney Point, NY entered into God’s kingdom and into her Savior’s loving arms August 3, 2016. Morgan was born on June 22, 1991 in Johnson City, NY. She was predeceased by her grandparents Austin and Thelma Belles and Earl and Betty Wheeler, as well as her best friend, Brent Pangburn. She was the devoted daughter of Thomas and Susan Wheeler who will hold her in their hearts forever. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Richard and Kimberly Wheeler, Linda and Brian Watson, Michael and Terry Lynn Wheeler, John and Kelly Wheeler, Nancy Wheeler, and Kenneth and Heidi Belles, as well as numerous cousins, and her beloved dog, Sid. She is remembered by those that knew her for her compassion, generosity, and thoughtfulness.
Morgan regularly attended Lisle Christian Fellowship Church and was involved most recently in volunteering there. She was also an active volunteer at the Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier. She was happily anticipating starting school this fall at Tompkins Cortland Community College. She loved hockey, fishing, and music.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 6th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home at 2659 Main St. Whitney Point, NY. Funeral will be held on Sunday, August 7th at 1:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, immediately followed by a luncheon to celebrate Morgan’s life at the Lisle Christian Fellowship Church in Lisle, NY. Burial will be private at the family’s convenience. Arrangements are in the care of James Shara.
