John R. Rybak, 58, of South Bend, passed away on Tuesday February 7, 2017 at Healthwin Specialized Care Facility, South Bend.
He was born on July 21, 1958 in South Bend to the late John C. and Patricia (VanParis) Rybak.
On July 10, 1982 he married Carol Mathis, who survives. Also surviving are his son, John W. Rybak of South Bend, his sister, Anne Rybak of South Bend and a brother, James Rybak of Gastonia, NC and several nieces and nephews.
John worked in construction labor and was a dirt bike enthusiast. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 2 p.m. Saturday February 11, 2017 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive.
A Celebration of Life will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Foundation at Rileykids.org
