Curtis O'Neal Pierce, Sr., age 81. Beloved husband of Virginia Rose Pierce, nee Bingaman. Loving father of Curtis O. (Vilinda Ann) Pierce, Jr., Amy Sue (late Henry Joel) Bauer and Douglas A. (Ellen Marie) Pierce. Cherished grandfather of Curtis O'Neal III, Rebecca Leigh, Austin Levi II, Eliana Marie, Danica Joy, Dallas Alexey, Alexandra Rose and Austin James. Dear great-grandfather of Avalon Verona and the late Levi Mason. Brother of Esther AdaBelle Dunlap. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Curtis was a 1956 graduate of the Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, MN. He has been an ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church since the Fall of 1959, founding Pastor of the United Pentecostal Church in Columbia, MO and builder of the United Pentecostal Church in McHenry. He is currently an instructor of Theology at the Purpose Institute under the direction of Rev. David J. Sagil in Elmwood Park, and honored several times as the employee of the month at Automated Data Processing/C.B.R.E. in Elk Grove Village. Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 8 from 3-9 PM at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg. Funeral service 10 AM, Thursday Feb. 9 at the funeral home. Interment Saturday, Feb. 11 at Bellflower Cemetery, Bellflower, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to fund a scholarship to the Purpose Institute.
