Betty Lou Scroggin Oliger, age 77, of Ward, Arkansas, passed away Monday, February 6, 2017. She was born November 11, 1939 in Cleveland, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Hulus Scroggin and the late Ruby Scroggin. She was a Timex Watch Inspector, member of First General Baptist Church in Austin, Arkansas and a member of United States Bowling Congress.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Edral Oliger; children, Pamela Ann Charles of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Randy Carl (Amy) Oliger of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and Gloria Renee Hadley of Fayetteville, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Amy, Kim, Jodie, J.J., Randall, Nate, and Ashley; twenty five great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Geneva Scroggin, Johnnie Mayall, and Sharon Gilmore; brother, Doyle Scroggin; granddaughter, Brittany Oliger; and nephew, Greg Mayall.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 9, at Harris Chapel with Rev. Ben Leonard officiating. Burial will be at Lost Corner Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, at funeral home.
