After a lengthy battle with ALS, Ruth Fritch, age 95, a longtime resident of Franklin Park, died peacefully on Friday, December 23, 2016.
Born and raised in Erie, PA, she graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Chemistry and was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority.
Beloved wife of the late Martin Fritch; mother of Karl Fritch (Maly), Maxine Sime (Wes) and the late Sally Leininger. Also surviving are her brother, John; and her grandchildren; Rob Leininger (Misty), Natalie Sime (Brandon Wood), Vahn Huryn (Rob), Alan Fritch (Samona) and ten great- grandchildren.
There will be no visitation.
Private burial in Ingomar Church Cemetery will take place at a later date.
Family suggests memorial donations to the ALS Association of Western PA, 416 Lincoln Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15209. Arrangements entrusted to H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME, INC.
