Services for Clarence Gillette of Richmond, Calif. were held June 16 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Richmond. Mr. Gillette, a former employee of the Democrat-Argus, died June 14, 1982, at the age of 73.
He was a native of Caruthersville and a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Richmond, Moose Lodge 550 in San Pablo, Calif.; Sons In Retirement of Berkeley, Calif.; and the American Association of Retired Persons.
He was the husband of Mrs. Ruth Gillette and the father of Barbara Ann Gillette of Albany, Calif., Patricia Jean Gillette of Richmond; and one brother of Sam Gillette of San Pablo and Jack Gillette of Orinda, Calif.
Interment was in the Sunset View Cemetery in Berkeley with the Wilson and Kratzer Morturaries in charge. Memorial should be sent to the Grace Lutheran Church.
