FORT ASHBY, W Va. - Evers Arnold McCoy, 86, of Fort Ashby, died Sunday, April 21, 1991, at the Maust Care Center in Accident, Md. Born Dec. 22, 1904, in Mozer, W.Va., he was the son of the late Thomas and Minnie L. (Riggleman) McCoy. His wife, Anna Pauline (Miller) McCoy, preceded him in death. Mr. McCoy retired from Allegany Ballistics Laboratory, where he worked in the utility department. He was a member of the Fort Ashby United Methodist Church and the church board of directors, the Fort Ashby Lions Club and the Fort Ashby and Keyser senior citizens groups. He was an avid hunter. Surviving are one son, Evers Ambrose McCoy, Duncansville, Pa.; two daughters, Patty Kay Yoder, Pinto, Md.; and Jo Ann McKenzie, Decatur, Ill.; and two sisters, Goldie Maske, Rockville, Md.; and Ollie Pitsonbarger, Fort Sibert, W.Va. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home in Cresaptown on Tuesday. Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Fort Ashby United Methodist Church.
