Michael Allen Saunders, age 52, went home to visit his family in heaven on February 7, 2017. His cause of death was cardiac arrest. He was born on October 6, 1964, to the late Carroll Saunders and Mary Saunders of Caribou.
Michael graduated from Caribou High School Class of 1982. Michael had two children, Michaela and Allen who stole his heart at hello! He was employed for LaFramboise well drilling of CT until he fell ill. He often expressed his gratitude to be employed with this company. Michael also enjoyed camping along with all the late night bonfires, and the reminiscing with all his family and many friends. Those that knew him surely experienced his sense of humor and knows that went a LONG way, but he also had a very heartfelt warming personality. A person who would go above and beyond to help anyone in need, even if it meant sacrificing himself. He also enjoyed horseshoes, cookouts,family gatherings and LIFE!
Michael was predeceased by his father Carroll Saunders and a sister Lori Saunders.
He is survived by his mother Mary Saunders-Ellis and her husband Troy of Caribou, ME, a daughter Michaela Graffam of Danielson, CT, a son Allen Saunders of Presque Isle, ME, two brothers Gene Saunders and his wife Susan of Caribou and Carroll Saunders Jr of Stuart, FL. He also had three nephews Brian Saunders, Christopher Saunders and Zachary Saunders. Michael will be deeply missed.
Funeral Services will be held on February 20th at at 11:00 am at Parish Of Precious Blood in Caribou, ME. calling hours will be at 10:00 am before services.
