Anton was born in 1856/7, in the Catholic Parish of Skoki (Ger: Schocken), located in powiat Wągrowiec, Prussia. His parents were Felix Burzynski and Susann Wróblewska, who were married in that parish in 1832. Anton emigrated to America in about 1880 where he styled himself Anthony. In October, 1893, he married Mariana Goszikowska, in Detroit. Mary had three daughters from a previous marriage: twins Bronislawa and Stanislawa (b.1884), and Frances (b.~1889). Mary also had two more children with Anthony: John (b.~1895) and Rosalia (b.~1898). Anthony worked most of his adult life as a lumberman in a local lumber yard. The family lived on Willis St. until Anthony's death in 1929. He was interred at Greenwood Cemetery (as it was then known); the grave location is unknown.
