Nancy Willis Curry, age 83, of Elm Mott, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior late Monday evening, February 6, 2017, in Bellmead, Texas.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at Gerald Cemetery near Leroy, with Rev. Terry McElrath officiating. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Aderhold Funeral Home.
Nancy was born January 20, 1934, in Leroy, the daughter of Albert "Buddy" Holzer and Etta Dell (Terry) Holzer Raborn. She attended school at Leroy Elementary and was a 1952 graduate of West High School. Nancy was united in marriage to Allen Ray Willis on December 15, 1952 in West. Allen preceded her in death on September 25, 1973. Nancy was then united in marriage to Carl Curry on August 6, 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Carl also preceded her in death on November 22, 2013.
Nancy was a greeter for Walmart for over 26 years and retired on November 22, 2013. She was a member of Ladies Elk Lodge BPOE #166 and was a Baptist. She enjoyed putting puzzles together and shopping at antique stores. She especially loved spending time with family and friends.
Nancy is also preceded in death by her parents and a son, Gary Willis.
Survivors include her sons, Mike Willis and wife Deanna of Bedford and Michael Curry of Chilton; a daughter, Karen Aguilar of San Antonio; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.
Honorary pallbearers are Austin Aguilar, Hunter Aguilar, Chase Willis, Chance Willis, Tyler Willis, Keith Green and Richard Busby.
