Donald F. "Bud" Koester, 62, died Wednesday in his home. He was a locksmith for 25 years for the the Toledo Mental Health Center, retiring this year. He was a navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Lois; son, Donald F., Jr.; daughter Mrs. Kathy Puls; parents Mr. and Mrs. Anthony N. Koester; brothers, Richard and Robert, and four grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Bersticker Mortuary, where the body will be after 10 a.m. today.
The family requests that any contributions be to the American Cancer Society or to the Northwest Ohio Hospice
