Wanda Gail Barton, age 67, of Blountstown passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017. Born in Lakeland, April 12, 1949, Gail was the daughter of the late Richard Kent and Wanda L. (Fielding) Burkett. She worked as a licensed practical nurse at Liberty Intermediate Care Facility and River Valley Rehabilitation Center for several years. Gail was a member of Sunny Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church in Altha.
In addition to her parents, Gail was predeceased by two brothers, Daniel Pridgeon and Wayne Burkett.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Barton, Sr. of Blountstown; three sons, Robert Barton, Jr. and his wife, Connie, also of Blountstown, Christopher Barton and his wife, Veronica of Altha, and Brian Barton and his wife, Lisa of Ft. Myers; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, February 6 at Adams Funeral Home. Services will be at Sunny Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church, 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 7 with Pastor David Hancock officiating. Interment will be in Sunny Hill Cemetery.
