Caleb was a tailor and lived in Bradford and Newbury MA. Most of his children were baptized at the Byfield parish in the town of Rowley but as the two towns adjoined some of the older ones may have been born in Bradford and taken to Byfield for baptism. Three of his sons, and possibly four, were officers in the Revolutionary war.
