Peggy was a graduate of Kingsville High School in Texas and earned her Bachelors and Masters Degrees at Baylor University. She was also a member of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, Klingerstown, PA as well as a member of Sell Chapel at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, PA.
Mrs. Leitzel was a retired schoolteacher, having taught most of her years in the Tri-Valley School District.
In addition to her husband of Elizabethtown, she is survived by three children: Richard R. Leitzel, husband of Lori, of Harrisburg; Jean M. Lynch, of Bethlehem; Michael L. Leitzel, husband of Bonnie, of Riverside; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, February 9, 2017 in Sell Chapel at Masonic Village, One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 with Pastor Gary George officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service on Thursday. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Lutheran Cemetery, Klingerstown, PA.
