Dolores "Doe Doe" Cox, 84, a retired from Ruleville Manufacturing , died Sept. 11, 2014 at her home. Visitation is Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014, 6-8 pm at Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS. Funeral services are 1:30 pm Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sumner, MS with burial in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS is handling the arrangements.
Mrs. Cox taught Sunday School at Sumner Church of God for 22 years. She loved cooking and helping others. Her hobby was reading and studying her Bible. She was a member of Sumner Church of God.
Survivors include: son Barton Cox (Brenda) and daughter Cathy Clark Smith (William) all of Webb, MS. 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Special care givers Betty Powell and Tara Gardner.
Preceded in death by parents Louis and Mattie Davenport Turnipseed.
